Privacy

Fives is a strength log that runs on your phone. It has no server, so there is almost nothing to say here. This page says it in plain English anyway.

No account

There is no sign-in, no email address, no password, no profile and no feed. You open the app and start lifting. Nothing identifies you to us, because there is no us to identify you to.

Your log stays on your phone

Every session, every set, every weight and every setting is written to a single file in the app’s own storage on your iPhone. It is covered by your device passcode and by whatever iPhone backup you already use.

• We cannot read it. It is never uploaded to us and there is nowhere for it to go.
• Reset everything in Settings deletes the file and starts fresh. There is no undo.
• Deleting the app deletes the file with it.
• With Pro you can export a CSV of the whole log through the share sheet, and then it goes wherever you send it.

Purchases

Fives Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple takes the payment and tells the app whether you own Pro. We never see your card, your Apple ID, your name or your address, and there is no third-party purchase service in between.

Notifications

If you let it, Fives posts a local notification when your rest timer reaches zero. Local means it is scheduled by the app on your phone and never leaves it. The permission is asked the first time a timer starts, not on launch, and saying no just means the timer is silent.

Analytics

This version sends nothing. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no tracking of any kind, and no third-party SDK collecting anything in the background.

A future version may include optional, anonymous product analytics — counts of things like “a workout was finished”, with no personal data and no way to identify you. If that ever ships it will be off unless you turn it on, this page will say so before it does, and it will never be used to track you across other apps or websites.

This website

No analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else. The site is static files on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs.

Children

Fives is rated 4+ and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app and this page will say so before the change takes effect.
